I have been collecting postage stamps and associated material including domestic cat images for a number of years now, and the collection has grown enormously and become quite advanced. From 2000 to the end of 2003 I wrote a series of articles about new cat-stamp issues for The Cat, the bimonthly magazine of the UK's leading cat charity, Cats Protection.
Although that series came to an end in print, it is continued at intervals here — three, possibly four times a year. The March 2008 review is available from the contents list below, and see also the relevant note for June. The complete series of earlier articles written for The Cat is included. All our reviews are fully illustrated.
As well as actual stamps showing cats, we have added a page of postmarks from places with 'cat names'. Various countries are represented, but any additions to this gallery would be welcome.

June 2008
I have seen only three new cat stamps since March, so these will be carried over to the next review, probably in September.
